Case Study – Scrooge – White Christmas – Confex After Hours

In association with Confex After Hours, Visit London, and Eventia. London Quest provided theatrical entertainment at the November Networking evening. The theme was White Christmas so it was only appropriate that the Quest actors played out the tale of Dickens’s Christmas Carol.

Scrooge, Tiny Tim, his Victorian sister Susan and the ghost of Jacob Marley met guests at the entrance. As the guests entered all the characters tried to persuade the guests to realize their way of thinking. Tiny Tim, Jacob Marley and Susan asking to see Christmas spirit while Scrooge lured the guests to believe in his tormented point of view while their reciting the lyrics of ‘I hate people’. 

The performance was engaging and quickly allowed the guests to feel comfortable in their environment.

Later in the evening the characters reemerged, Scrooge having witnessed the ghosts of Christmas past, present and yet to come. Overjoyed with his newfound love of people they trod the boards exclaiming joyous cry’s rejoicing in Christmas Spirit.
